James Creedon

MANAGING PRINCIPAL

As an intellectual property and business attorney, James sees his role as being a part of the creative process. The best parts of humanity show themselves when we innovate, and his job is to provide the tools to bring ideas to life. Whether it is a novel, a craft beer, or a rocket engine, he wants to learn everything about it and be part of the team that makes it happen.

James believes passionately in the power of ideas. Ideas challenge and push people to test limits, ultimately leading to change that betters lives. Ideas took him from riding freight trains across country to watching the sunrise from Mount Kilimanjaro. Ranger School, the New York City marathon, jumping out of planes — James has always pushed past boundaries. His passion for ideas has taken him across the globe from volunteering on a Guatemalan coffee plantation to camping 200 feet above the ground in the redwood forest.

James and his family are committed to supporting their community. He has served in the United States Army for over a decade as an officer in Information Operations, the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, and the Infantry.  He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne, Air Assault, and Ranger Schools, and he holds an active security clearance.

His wife Eliza worked in finance in New York City before switching careers to health care, and she currently serves as the Executive Director of the Creedon Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children in need pursue their interests. James and Eliza have two children — Emmett and Amelia.
